Expert Guidance for ETA, Permits, and Travel Insurance

At Come Travel Kenya, we believe your journey should begin with peace of mind. That’s why we provide complete support with immigration, travel documents, and travel insurance — giving you confidence that every requirement is handled before you set off.

Since January 2024, Kenya officially replaced all traditional visas with the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). For most international visitors, the eTA is mandatory and must be applied for before travel.

However, Kenya has made travel simpler for African citizens:

  • Most African countries are exempt from the eTA requirement, meaning travellers can enter without prior authorization.

  • Exceptions: Citizens of Somalia and Libya must still apply for an eTA.

  • EAC Partner States — Burundi, DRC, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda — enjoy extended entry privileges of up to 180 days.

Beyond the eTA and entry permits, Come Travel Kenya also assists with:

  • Work, study, and research permits for long stays.

  • Special passes and residency support for expatriates, consultants, and NGOs.

  • Travel insurance packages covering medical emergencies, trip delays, lost baggage, and more.

We ensure your documentation and protection are in order — so you can focus on the adventure ahead.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) & Exemptions

  • Most African countries are exempt, including South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, DRC, Ghana, and Ethiopia.

  • Somalia and Libya still require an eTA.
