Itinerary

08:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Karen Blixen Museum

Your driver guide will arrive at your preferred pick-up point around 7:30 AM for an early start.
Head to Karen Blixen Museum, located in the serene Karen suburb. This historic house belonged to Karen Blixen, a Danish immigrant famous for her coffee farming and intriguing life story in pre-colonial Kenya.
Enjoy a guided house tour showcasing well-preserved antiques from the 1800s and explore her biography, including her love story and relationship with indigenous Kenyan people.
If you’re feeling adventurous, take a short nature walk along the museum’s forest trail, where you can spot birdlife and small mammals such as dik-diks and tree hyrax.

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Kazuri Beads Factory

Around 10:30 AM, proceed to the Kazuri Beads Factory, a vibrant pottery company located nearby.
Learn about the process of creating beautiful, handcrafted ceramic beads and pottery. Kazuri employs single mothers from underprivileged neighborhoods, empowering them through craftsmanship.
Browse and purchase a variety of ceramics, jewelry, and souvenirs, all while supporting local artisans and small businesses.

12:00 PM – 02:00 PM: Lunch Break

Your driver guide will take you to Carnivore Restaurant or a restaurant of your choice for lunch. Enjoy a delicious meal before continuing your adventure.

02:00 PM – 04:00 PM: Giraffe Center

After lunch, visit the Giraffe Center, a rehabilitation center for endangered Rothschild giraffes.
Enjoy an up-close encounter as you feed the giraffes and maybe even get a “giraffe kiss” for a truly memorable experience.
Take a guided walk through the serene nature trail around the center, perfect for unwinding.

End of Tour
